March 2020 Orange Blossom

2020 in Hardee County was marked by unseasonably high temps consistently in the mid to upper 80's as early as January. These temps combined with dry conditions (normal for that time of year), led to drought-like conditions. Not all of the groves pollinated by our bees had active irrigation. The actual bloom time was considerably short - about 2 weeks. TO VIEW THE POLLEN ANALYSIS, LOCATE IT IN THE IMAGES BELOW.

Color Estimate: Extra Light Amber (ELA), approx. 34-36mm
Flavor: Distinct floral Orange blossom notes but atypically mellow acidic undertone
